课 程 简 介 

本课程是综合性大学四年制地质学专业的地质基础课，课程的主要任务和目的是让一年级学生明确地球科学的基本内容，掌握地球科学入门的基本概念和基本原理，建立正确的时空和物质运动、变化的观念。初步树立正确的地球科学观。培养学生热爱地球科学、主动钻研地球科学的专业思想感情。养成正确的地质观察、思维的方法、动手能力。为后继课程的学习奠定基础。课程的基本内容：地球科学研究对象、研究方法及学科前景；地球的层圈构造和主要的地球物理、地球化学属性：观察和认识常见的矿物、岩石；各种地质作用及其主要产物的基本特征、地质作用的基本原理及相互关系：岩石圈运动的一般规律及其起因；地球（无机和有机界）的发展历史概况及地质年代；地球和太阳系的起源与行星地质；环境地质概述。本课程还通过课堂试验和野外实习训练学生的基本技能：肉眼观察和鉴定常见矿物和岩石的方法：阅读地质图、编制地质剖面图和地层柱状图的方法：观察和描述分析一般地质现象的能力和方法；使用简单地质工具的方法以及编写简单地质报告的能力。

 Concept of Geosciences is taught for beginning students in geological major in university. Object of this course is to give the students about basic concepts, knowledge and principles of geosciences, to present them how to think in geological sense about time and space, and to show them the knowledge of geosciences how to link to our society, environment and everyday life. Through learning this course, the students will lay the foundation for coming course in university. Contents of this course include: Objects, methods and prospects of geoscience research, the structures and their basic physics and chemical properties of earth's varies spheres, rocks and minerals, basic features, principles, produces and relationship of various geological agents, dynamics and origins of lithosphere movements, geological time and history, geological evolution, the solar system, environmental geology. To accompany the class teaching, the students will also be trained by laboratory work, field work. They will learn to identify common minerals and rocks by naked eyes, to read geological map and compile simple geological sections, to investigate in the field by simple geological tools and to write simple geological reports.
