Brief Introduction
Associate Professor Zhang Dongli is a doctoral supervisor brought into the Sun Yat-sen University as one of the young outstanding talents urgently needed in the “Hundred Talents Program Phase II” in 2016. She is mainly engaged in the researches of earthquake engineering, seismic forecast and seismic hazard assessment, strong ground motion. 
The projects she has presided over include one sub-topic of the National Key Research and Development Program, one cooperation task of the second comprehensive scientific investigation on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Science Foundation and other projects, and three basic research projects of the central public welfare research institutes of the Institute of Geology, China Earthquake Administration. One special project of Earthquake Science Joint Fund and one sub-project of the 15th National Major Construction Project of China Earthquake Administration. She is one of the core members of the innovation and entrepreneurship team of "Pearl River Talent Program" in Guangdong Province, and has participated in more than ten other national, provincial and ministerial projects as the main participant. She published more than 30 papers, and as the main participants, 7 provincial bureaus and scientific research award, including science and technology progress prize of China seismological bureau, science and technology progress prize of heilongjiang province and gansu province scientific and technological progress, seismological bureau of earthquake disasters in gansu province outstanding achievements won third prize, institute of engineering mechanics, China seismological bureau of earthquake disasters such as excellent prize. She used to be a member of the expert group of earthquake hazard Assessment of the national major construction project "Urban Active Fault Detection and Earthquake Risk Assessment", and a reviewer of domestic professional journals such as "Acta Seismologica Sinica", "South China Earthquake", "Journal of Earthquake Engineering", "Earthquake Disaster Prevention Technology".
